Common Questions
Type a word like “cancel,” “bring,” or “tournament” to jump to your answer.
Do we need any experience to start?
None at all. We start everyone with the fundamentals, and beginners are always welcome on the mat.
What should my child bring to practice?
Athletic clothes (shirt and shorts), clean indoor wrestling or athletic shoes, and a water bottle. Headgear is recommended but not required to start.
Where are practices held?
At Jack C. Hays High School in Buda, TX. Check the Schedule page for current days and times.
What if I’m not ready to compete in a tournament?
No pressure at all — you compete when you’re ready. The main thing is having fun and learning. Many of our wrestlers train for a while before their first match.
Where do I register for wrestling events?
For most tournaments in our area you’ll first need a USA Wrestling membership (sign up at usawrestling.org). From there, we’ll help you find and register for the right events.
Can I try before I commit?
Absolutely. Your first class is 100% free with no signup required.
How do I pay?
We use Stripe for secure recurring payments. All major cards accepted.
Can I cancel anytime?
On the month-to-month plan, we just ask for 30 days’ notice to cancel — let us know and we’ll handle the rest. No penalty.
What if I need to pause?
Reach out to us and we’ll work with you. We want you on the mat, not stressed about billing.
No question matches that yet — send us a note and we’ll answer it.
