On your phone: open it, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It installs like an app and you'll get practice alerts. Takes about fifteen seconds. Open it from the home-screen icon after that — type the code in there rather than tapping the link in your email, or you'll end up signed in to Safari instead of the app.
